DeleteThe story is called ,,The Alchemist’”, personally I have read part one which is basically a plot of the novel.
ReplyDeleteIt is about the journey of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy. He sees the same dream every night in which a child says that he will find treasure at the Egyptian pyramids. He starts his journey in the search of treasure. In the end, he meets an alchemist who makes him realize his true self.
I must say I have never met a character like Santiago. He showed us that a right profession should make us happy, not rich. Due to that we all must make a same decision in our lives.
I haven’t finished a book so I can’t really tell you either it’s good or not. But I can rate the part that I have read. It really is a life lesson; anyone should read it. It is a good book with a simple story and a lot of inspiring quotes. For example -“And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” And many more. From my point of view there is nothing, that I would change in the story. Still, this is not 100% proof, because I haven’t read a hole book yet.
I would recommend this book to anyone, it doesn’t matter what age, gender, or religion they have. If I have to be honest, I will mostly recommend this to a teenagers. The reason for this is that, I don’t want them to be involved in ,,the world’s greatest lie.”

I WROTHE THE WHOLE LECTION AND IT GOT DELETED.
ReplyDeleteI'M SORRY I'LL HAVE TO DESCRIBE EVERYTHING FAST!(I will tell more at the lesson)
The book is about a shepherd boy named Santiago. He sees the same dream for weeks, where a child show's him a pyramid where he can find treasure. Santiago starts searching for the pyramid, but the way came out hard.
I liked the book because of its wise phrases and life lessons, but I'm not going to lie, this book may had included the seriousness that wasn't interesting and understandable for me. But I liked the book in common!
I would recommend this book for a true book lovers, who will understand the seriousness and will be concentrated on the book and the lore.
I'M SORRY IF THIS WASN'T ENOUGH! I SWEAR I WROTE A LOT AND IT GOT DELETED!
Wait, why doesn't it say my name? xD
DeleteIt is me, Barbare.
Wisdom is the theme of The Alchemist. It is an adventure story of Santiago, who dreams of traveling the world and discovering treasures. During one of his travels, He meets a beautiful Arabian woman named Fatima. Who explains to him that if he follows his heart, He shall find what he seeks. He makes plenty of sacrifices, but he also gains a lot, like learning from the many people he meets. Throughout the book, Coelho is trying to convey a deeper message, what starts out as a boy's journey to Egypt transforms into A universal message about trying to listen to our hearts and pursue our dreams. This book is named for The Alchemist who guides the boy Throughout his quest with teaching of wisdom treasures Found within ourselves. The Alchemist is an inspiring novel filled with optimism. The novel instills in us a belief that anything is possible if only you could have the courage to believe in your dreams and pursue it. I personally feel you have to be in a reflective mood to enjoy the book. If you are Expecting Too much You might not like it. Moreover, this story has so many different layers and depths to it that you might not get a full grasp of the book in the first read itself. All the same, The Alchemist is a combination of philosophy and wisdom making It on the whole inspiring read. The story handles the complex subjects with such a case that Reading the book becomes piece of cake. I would definitely recommend others to read this wonderful inspirational novel by Paulo.
